Grading Guidelines (This is an approximation and
may change without notice)
50% Class: Includes but not limited to: promptness, attendance,
materials, preparation, attitude, social behavior, participation.
30% Lessons: Includes but not limited to: attendance, materials,
preparation, evidence of improvement.
20% Tests: Includes but not
limited to: quizzes, tests, attendance at concerts, participation.
**This is a performance-based class. All concerts are mandatory for participants in this program. Alternate assignments are allowable for excused and /or legitimate truancies from this class.

This is a very efficient method and renders good results with minimal time. Daily practicing of shorter duration is often better than scattered long “marathon” practicing.
