On Friday, February 14th,
the students at Watson Williams participated in a fundraiser for the American
Heart Association. It was a dance they
cleverly named “Dance Your Heart Out”.
Students donated $1.00 to attend the dance and show off their dance
“moves”. It was a lot of fun and they
raised $430.00.
On Wednesday, March 5,
2003, Mr. Frasca - Principal, William Rivera - student and Mrs. Sitera - Magnet
Specialist presented a check for $430.00 to Dick Mattia who happily accepted it
on behalf of the American Heart Association.
