The Harlem Globetrotters will be in town next thursday night, but a group of elementary students at Watson Williams elementary school were treated to a show a few days early.

Barry Hardy, also known as "High Rise" gave students a speech on character education as a part of the "C.H.E.E.R" program.

According to Hardy the The C is cooperation the H is healthy mind and body, the E is for effort and the other E is for enthusiasm the R is for responsibility.

The Globetrotters have been around since 1926. Currently, they travel through 193 cities and play 229 games in a four month season.
