Mason’s Beacon Project Park Clean up

The First and Second Oneida District Masons Beacon Project, in partnership with Watson Williams Elementary School, conducted an outdoor clean up and beautification of the school grounds and park on May 17th.  School staff, students, family members and neighbors joined in the effort.  The City of Utica Parks Department provided shrubs, which were planted near the park monument.  Plans are underway to clean, and possibly restore the monument.  Previous Beacon Project events have included painting scenery for Watson Williams stage productions and a winter coat drive.
