• Welcome to Regents Physics!
You may be wondering: What is Physics?
Physics is the study of matter and energy.  We study things as small as subatomic particles to as large as the universe.

We cover a multitude of topics including *but not limited to*:
Measurement, Motion, 2-D Motion, Dynamics, Vectors, Circular Motion, Universal Gravitation, Momentum, Work-Power-Energy, Waves, Light, Circuits, Electricity-Magnetism, and Modern Physics.
Throughout this course you will be challenged to think differently about the world around you.  You will analyze everyday occurrences and learn to explain your observations both logically and mathematically.  You will develop a greater understanding of the laws which govern our universe and how they were discovered and refined throughout history.  You will develop skills in technical writing, problem-solving, and critical thinking throughout this course which will translate to college or career success.
"Science is a way of life. Science is a perspective. Science is the process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner that's precise, predictive and reliable - a transformation, for those lucky enough to experience it, that is empowering and emotional."
    -Brian Greene
