RED Program: Spring Lanterns

Students at MLK had the opportunity to work on making a Spring lantern. They used Glue and water, Yarn and balloon. Student worked on this project for 3 consecutive days. While having this new and fun activity student used critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, while also strengthening skills like problem-solving and communication.

By incorporating these types of activities students are empowered to become active learners, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence in their ability to succeed in their studies and beyond. making the concepts more relatable and memorable.
