District News: Superintendent Search, Your Feedback Requested

Superintendent Search, Your Feedback Requested

The Utica City School District has begun the search for their new Superintendent of Schools, to start in September of 2024. Interim Superintendent Kathy Davis, will continue to serve the district during this transition period, which is greatly appreciated. Since October of 2022, the Utica City School District has engaged the services of Acting and Interim Superintendents, which are temporary positions, meant to assist in leading the district when a permanent superintendent is not present or during the period of time when a school district needs to hire and appoint a permanent superintendent.

During the superintendent search process, feedback from members of the school community, staff and students will be requested through surveys. If you would like to participate in a survey regarding the experiences, characteristics or attributes that you feel the new superintendent should have, please click the survey link provided below.  This survey, called a Thought Exchange, is provided in multiple languages.  Please be sure to indicate the language of your choice when you begin the survey. This survey closes on March 22.

The intention of this thought exchange is to provide an opportunity for the public to share thoughts in a constructive manner that will benefit the superintendent search process.  Comments may not include names of students or individuals or include any profanity.

Thank you for providing your feedback!
