CTE Field Trip: Upstate Caring Partners - Utica Campus

Proctor students made the short trip to the Upstate Caring Partners (UCP) Utica Campus on Armory Drive. They were introduced to the many careers that UCP has to offer and were told about the opportunities available to move up within the organization. Many employees started their careers as interns at UCP and are now individuals with administrative and director positions. Students were able to visit youth residences as well as the high school and elementary school on campus to see the different careers available within the organization. The careers range from program managers, residential workers, teachers, and teacher aids to administrators, controllers, and data analysts. Students are now more aware of career opportunities right in their backyard.
