As the school year draws to a close, the Utica City School District extends its deepest gratitude to the many dedicated staff members retiring this year. These individuals have shaped generations of learners, supported our students and families, and helped build a stronger school community through their hard work, care, and commitment.
From classrooms to cafeterias, offices to buses, our retirees have made a lasting impact across every corner of the district. Their contributions reflect hundreds of years of combined service, with many dedicating 30, 35, or even 44 years to Utica students. This remarkable group includes teachers, social workers, secretaries, counselors, security staff, transportation personnel, maintenance crews, and more.
These individuals have shown what it means to serve with purpose, heart, and pride. We are especially grateful for the lasting relationships they’ve built with students, colleagues, and families over the years.
