Month of January

Guest Speakers & Field Trips:

CTE students were very busy during the month of January. Business Law students listened to guest speaker - Jona Quiles from Transworld about different investment opportunities and Career and Financial Management students had a visit from Brandon Zaleski from the Army who discussed military career opportunities.

Additionally, students went on Field Trips to the Bank of Utica, BJ’s Wholesale Club, and MVCC. At the Bank of Utica - Work-Based Learning students learned the many facets of the banking world, at BJ’s Wholesale Club - Business Math and Work-Based Learning students took a tour of the facility and put their Unit Cost knowledge to use in a real world setting, and at MVCC - the CTE Department partnered with the Future Educators of America Club to learn more about various educational careers.
