CTE: Women & STEAM Symposium

CTE: Women & STEAM Symposium

The Women & STEAM Symposium featured a panel of women business owners who have found success in their respective fields. The symposium also provided networking opportunities and a Creating Connections career/college fair. This was an excellent opportunity for young students to learn from inspirational women in STEAM fields, education, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Thirty-three girls that are enrolled in technology classes at Proctor High School took advantage of this great opportunity presented by The Project Fibonacci, Inc. and sponsored by NYSTEC. The girls learned of STEM camp opportunities through Project Fibonacci and Griffis Institute for the Summer of 2024. The camps will immerse them in relevant hands-on activities and projects in related fields of study.
