Smart Schools Investment Plan

The Smart Schools Bond Act was part of the 2014-15 Enacted NYS Budget and approved by the voters of the state in November 2014. It authorized $2 billion in borrowing to finance improved educational technology and infrastructure to improve learning and opportunity for students throughout the state. In 2017, the district submitted their phase one Smart Schools Investment Plan to support school connectivity and classroom technology needs. In July 2020, the district amended their application to support classroom technology needs. Both the approved plan and the amendment are at the links below.
